So this doesn't happen to you!

A much needed solution to a great big problem in the rv world.

If you have a Norcold 1200 series refrigerator in your recreational vehicle,  then our heavy duty replacement cooling unit is the only one you want in your fridge.

Our innovative boiler design is the only one of its kind. No one else understands the 1200 cooling unit boiler like we do, and we use heavy wall seamless pipe to construct our special boiler design.

From our precision foam pack, to our built it fan brackets, to our laser-cut sheet metal boiler housing, our 1200 series cooling units out perform any of our competitors. Best of all they are built right here in the U.S.A.

Its no secret that Norcold Corp. has had a lot of bad press in the last few years with their 1200 series cooling unit failures. These failures resulted in a multi-million dollar class action lawsuit against Norcold because several of these failures led to camper fires and a number of people have died in these fires. The lawsuit claims that the cause of failure and fires was due to design flaws and manufacturing defect, it also alleges that Norcold new about these defects and downplayed them.

At RVCOOL we take our 1200 series cooling unit design and safety very seriously. No one has spent more time studying these cooling units than we have. All of our research has led to the design of what we call our Bullet-Proof Boiler Technology™. Its not just heavier tubing, but the entire design of our boiler inside and out that make it special.
